Did you know that the Post COVID-19 Fashion has actually liberated women?

In a normal world women dressed up in a Fashion that was generally in vogue. However, ever since the world was ‘Virally’ attacked by COVID-19 pandemic they have been left no choice other than to feel comfort by wearing clothes that make them feel comfortable. In other words, the current socially distant world has forced women to depend on clothes that are basic, rather something really fancy that catches the eye. This change in attire has then led to them feeling really liberated. Here is the presenting a few reasons explaining why.

1. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced women to think about fashion as a need to feel secure not greed to show off:
At a time when women all yearning to swaddle their loved ones in cotton wool, keeping them safe at all costs, it’s no wonder this is the aesthetic they are leaning into. If women can’t have human arms wrapped around them, then will do everything they can to experience that cozy feeling.  As a result, they have turned to tracksuits, leggings (or as one friend calls them, “sitting down pants”), pillowy puffer jackets and anything that could reasonably exude that wonderful feeling of a hug.

2. The post COVID-19 pandemic world has forced women to truly come to believe that necessity is the mother of invention:
Dressing up in a way women wanted was a privilege that most of them haven’t experienced until now, in their own homes, when their level of comfort is one of the few things they have had control over during this period of COVID-19 distress. This has in turn made them realize that dressing up in style may not quite be history but it is certainly not a requirement to live a happy life.

3. Dressing up to feel comfortable is a Fashion concept that is on the way to becoming a new fad in the post COVID-19 world:

Ganni launched its first ever “softwear” collection, made from recycled materials and without a button, zip or fitted waist in sight. It joins Baum und Pferdgarten’s Basically Baum and Kitri’s Jersey collection that already has its own waitlist. Furthermore, there are many newer brands such as HUNA, which makes linen sleepwear have made comfort their sole selling point. Even though these clothing apparel innovations look like the antithesis of fashion, it certainly seems to perfectly fit the requirements of the world that we live in today. More importantly, this is the direction in which the industry certainly seems to be heading towards.

4. The post COVID-19 pandemic world has given women the dress to chill and not thrill others license:
Women have always been subjected to restrictive clothing which have been specifically designed to make conform to the demands of a majorly male dominated society. However, the coronavirus pandemic has enabled women to break free from societal norms imposed upon them and allowed them to dress to feel comfortable in their own body and skin.

It is a fact that once the pandemic is done and dusted no one ultimately knows what the longer term effect on women fashion will be. As a result, we can’t possibly predict how women will dress themselves up. Moreover, one thing feature that is certain about women is that, they certainly with regards to fashion will veer towards comfort over style in the near future.
