We are facilitated with lots of mode of transportation. Our choice of mode of commuting depends on various factors like, longevity of journey, modes available for that particular route, our budget, comfort level, etc. Out of all, we tend to give preference to our comfort level most. Our choice of mode of commuting also reflects our standard of living. And hence, we often choose our personal cars to commute. Does anyone of us has ever thought that there are more than one billion trucks, cars and buses in the world already running on roads. And that, our slightest move from choosing personal cars for commuting to public mode of transport for commuting, can make A HUGE DIFFERENCE!! Here, i am writing this article to give an idea to the readers on how a little difference in our choice while choosing mode of transportation can make for betterment of environment: Car Pooling: If there are a number of people from your office live at the same location, you can choose one car to commute to work and back home. This will help in saving fuel, less air pollution and less traffic. Use of public conveyance: Prefer to commute through public conveyance like Bus, train, metro E-rickshaw, etc. Walk: Prefer to walk down to the stores to fetch vegetables, groceries, etc, if the stores are located at walking distance. We often choose to pick two-wheelers for our comfort and avoid walking at shorter distances. Cycling: Many companies and universities are promoting use for cycles in their campus, which is a very good move. it encourages people to ensure a little contribution towards saving the environment from their end. Even Governments organize city tours on cycles, which is a great move. These are few things we should keep in mind always. Initiating above-mentioned practices in our daily lives can make a huge difference. Let's join hands towards WORKING OUT THIS DIFFERENCE!!!
