Introduction and description of work:
My full name is Divya Singh. I've worked with a German bank in embargo filtering for US, UK and APEC region. Post to this, I worked as Compliance Officer in a listed company.
Currently, I am working as a Company Secretary in one of the leading hotel chains of India where I take care of all the regulatory and statutory compliances along with legal & taxation cases.
Apart from this, I also take sessions in the training programs conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi.
I am fond of travelling and whenever I get time I make sure to travel to remote and untouched regions of Himalayas. I also write blogs on my travel experiences and current issues. I'm also trying to keep alive the painter and doodler in me.
The one line that keep me going through my difficult time is - This is just a bad time, not a bad life.
The one thought that ensures my professional and personal growth is -
As long as you consider yourself as a learner, your growth and development is guaranteed. And once you consider yourself as an expert, you 'll close doors for new things happening around and you'll began to sink down.
